Compostable kitchen caddy liners for Knox City Council residents
Compost Community are no longer contracted to provide free liners for Knox residents. Please visit Knox City Council’s website for the latest information regarding free liners - Food and garden bin collection | Knox or contact [email protected]

If you have already received your free liners for the year and/or would like to purchase some more, you can buy them directly from us at Compost Community. 
Liners must:
  • Be lime green (not pale green or any other colour)
  • Display the code AS4736
  • Display the seedling symbol

Knox Residents - Subsidised compost systems

​​​Knox residents receive subsidies off our already discounted prices AND free postage, offering significant savings.
Conditions of Eligibility
  • One rebate is available per household or school, per financial year.
  • A rebate can be claimed on either a compost bin or a bokashi bin or a worm farm.
  • Residents that have already received a compost rebate are ineligible to claim another one until the next financial year.
  • This rebate is only available to residents (ratepayers and renters) of Knox, and schools within Knox.
  • A limited number of products are available and this offer will be unavailable once funds are exhausted.

Can I order more than one compost system?
Yes, however any subsequent items will are not eligible for the Knox discount.  

Shipping
Compost Community ships in batches fortnightly and some items may even be hand delivered, so please leave delivery instructions or an alternative address. All orders are reviewed for eligibility so please allow at least 10-14 days for delivery.
  • Signature on delivery: If you are not home, our Couriers may leave the item if they feel it is safe. We can request a signature or send by Australia Post if you specify this in delivery notes. 
  • Safe drop: We will safe drop by default for contactless delivery. If you specify a location for safe drop we are happy to leave it without a signature. Please note that our Courier and Australia Post will not honour insurance on safe drop, as thefts occasionally do occur.   

How do I know if I am a Knox resident?
You can check your address at maps.abs.gov.au/index.html# or vic.gov.au/know-your-council to confirm that you are a Knox resident.

​Can I pick my item/s up?
You are welcome to pick items up from Langwarrin, about 30 minutes from Knox. Select Click and Collect instead of delivery during checkout.
