How it works

Step 1: Are you ELIGIBLE?
Picture
You must be a Moreland resident to receive the Moreland compost subsidy. This means your billing address must be a physical address within the Moreland municipality.

If you have not yet claimed a Moreland compost rebate this financial year, you are eligible to apply for the $50 compost rebate with code MRL50.
We check every address for previous orders and for a completed survey (see below). If your order is not approved, you will be notified of the reason why and next steps.

You must complete the eligibility baseline survey (opens in new window) and commit to the 6 month follow up survey to be eligible to receive the Council discount.

Please ensure you read the terms and conditions on this page.
STEP 2: COMPLETE THE WELCOME SURVEY
The welcome survey is a prerequisite for receiving the Council subsidy.  Your order will not be approved if we cannot match your survey address to your order address.
Complete the survey
Step 3: Order your compost system/s
Remember to use the same address in your order that you used in your welcome survey.

You must enter your discount code at checkout for the discount to be applied.

You will find your discount code in brackets in the product title.

Step 4: Learn and Share
Learn!
Whilst we love helping you in person, there are three of us and thousands of you, so we love it when you use all the fantastic resources we have developed for you before calling or emailing us.

Take advantage or all our useful resources, particularly under the "Learn" and "Toolbox" menus. The resources will guide you through your composting journey and answer all your frequently asked questions.

Participate in our webinars and Live Q&As to build your skills and knowledge.

Share!
Share your questions, advice, challenges or wins with the online community on Facebook.

Sharing is caring! Share Compost Community with your network. We are a family owned and run micro business and social enterprise, meaning all our profits are invested back into the local community and environmental programs. A simple share can really help us grow and keep doing 'more good', and help your networks do good too!
Step 5: Report back
In six months you will be asked to complete a feedback survey to help us calculate how much food and garden waste has been diverted from landfill. This is important to secure continued support and funding for the program, so please assist by participating.
