The Hungry Bin is a continuous flow system, so there are no trays. The tapered design encourages the downward compaction of the castings for harvesting and has a large surface area for feeding your worms.
The system is a large capacity, processing between 1 and 2kg of food waste per day, depending on how many worms you have in there. Note you will need 4kg if worms (16,000 worms) to process 2kg of food scraps per day.
Designed and made by our kiwi cousins across the ditch in NZ, this is one of the most popular worm farms in Australia.
Make sure you keep it in a cool, shady location. The built-in wheels make it easy to move around each season.
