About

Who We Are

Compost Community is the creation of environmental educator, compost enthusiast and behaviour change marketing guru Ella Boyen. Compost Community is a program set up for community sustainable behaviour change education for local councils on waste minimisation.

Ella has over 20 years' experience in environmental management, environmental education, marketing and communication. She has also worked extensively in local government and understands the idiosyncrasies and requirements of local government contracts.

Compost Community is affiliated with Ella's other ventures, Chooktopia (sustainable products and services - retail) and Wild Emu Design, Ella's web design venture.

What we do

We empower individuals to reduce their environmental footprint by reducing their organic waste to landfill by working with the individual on the ultimate food recycling option for their household.

We develop fact sheets, videos, workshops and customised waste education to support your council and your community from beginners through to advanced composters.

What is Compost Community?
